The City of Clearwater will accept sealed letters of interest from persons and groups interested in acquiring a portion of the right-of-way known as Oak Avenue, bounded by Court Street on the north and Chestnut Street on the south, through a roadway transfer agreement pursuant to Florida Statutes. Letters of interest (LOIs) should be submitted electronically through the bids website or may be mailed or hand-delivered to the Economic Development & Housing Department. Email or fax submissions will not be accepted, and late submittals will not be considered. The City reserves the right to reject any or all LOIs, to waive technicalities, to readvertise, and to otherwise conduct this process in the manner it deems to be in the best interests of the public. Instructions for electronic submission require completion of an online form, selection of the project, uploading the necessary files, and submitting the form. Retractions must be emailed according to the instructions listed under the solicitation on the Citys website, and are only permitted for open solicitations.
