Site work, renovation and addition to an elderly care / assisted living facility in Taber, Alberta. Completed plans call for the addition of a 13,402-square-foot, three-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Block 100 Class A Tendered Budget - Block 100 will be moved this summer/fall ahead of the main building renovations and addition. This will be the only/final pricing round for this portion of the project. Class B Budget - All other work is being Budgeted during this pricing round. THIS PROJECT UPGRADES AN EXISTING ONE-STOREY SENIORS HOUSING FACILITY AND ADDS A NEW THREE-STOREY PLUS BASEMENT EXPANSION. THE RENOVATION RECONFIGURES RESIDENT ROOMS TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY, STORAGE, AND LAYOUT, AND INTRODUCES A NEW ACTIVITY ROOM, UPDATED OFFICE SPACE, AND UPGRADED SERVICE AREAS. THE EXPANSION PROVIDES 56 ADDITIONAL RESIDENT ROOMS, ALONG WITH SERVICE SPACES, A STAFF ROOM, BOARDROOM, CRAFTS ROOM, AND DEDICATED STORAGE. THE EXTERIOR OF THE EXISTING BUILDING WILL ALSO BE UPDATED TO MATCH THE NEW ADDITION, CREATING A UNIFIED AND MODERN FACILITY THAT ENHANCES COMFORT, ACCESSIBILITY, AND COMMUNITY LIVING FOR SENIORS IN THE TOWN OF TABER.
