Site work, paving and new construction of a municipal facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for paving for a municipal facility.
The Indianapolis Housing Hub is a four-story capital project located at the intersection of Shelby and Georgia Streets, designed to serve as a centralized, low-barrier resource center and emergency shelter. Slated for completion in early 2027, this facility features a modern architectural structure, providing 150 beds for individuals, couples, and families. With exterior construction featuring dual parking lots with one located at the North and one at the South of the building. This multi-use development incorporates a high-traffic day center operated by Goodwill Horizon House and overnight facilities operated by Aspire. The building includes administrative offices for staff and dedicated spaces for other healthcare and training services. All subcontractors are required to review all contract documents to assure they are bidding a complete work scope. It is not acceptable to claim additional cost for items missed during thebid that may not be indicated in what is considered a typical location. Bidder is responsible for all work indicated to be covered in their respective work scope regardless of the drawing or specification section on/in which it is included. Bid RFI Questions Due: Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 @ 4:00 pm Shiel Sexton is seeking qualified subcontractor bids for the Indianapolis Housing Hub - Shelter project for work associated with the following bid packages: General Trades, Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel & Misc Metals, Fiber Cement Siding, Roofing & Gutters, Doors, Frames, & Hardware, Glass & Glazing, Framing & Drywall, Painting & Wallcovering, Flooring, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Asphalt Paving, and Landscaping. The project location is 963 - 1027 E. Georgia Street, Indianapolis, IN - 46202. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the total base bid amount. Bids are to be submitted sealed to Shiel Sexton, Attention: Eric Hooten, at Shiel Sexton Company, 902 N Capitol Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
