The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority seeks sealed bids from qualified contractors to retrofit backflow devices on existing fire risers and install backflows on domestic and/or landscape services as needed. The selected contractor must be licensed to work in the State of Nevada and is responsible for providing all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, transportation services, permits and fees, utilities, and all incidental items necessary for the Backflow Retrofit Project according to the specifications, drawings, and plans provided. Bidders must submit one original hard copy of their bid and one electronic copy on a flash drive, ensuring the flash drive is neither corrupted nor password protected and contains the complete ITB response. All required documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package marked with "ITB #25/26-12 Backflow Retrofit Project" and the bidder's name, address, and the due date and time. Mailed bids must be in an additional envelope marked "BID ENCLOSED" on the outside. Bids must be received at the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, Contracts & Procurement Department, 2770 Vassar Street, Reno, NV 89502, by the submittal deadline. Late bids will not be accepted, and timeliness is determined by the official procurement office clock. The work of this contract shall include all parts, labor and materials necessary to install domestic, fire, and irrigation backflow devices at various locations on RTAA property and all the related incidental Work. B. The Work is located Washoe County, Nevada. The Work to be performed lies within property owned by the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA). C. The CONTRACTOR shall comply with RTAA rules and regulations when working at the facilities including but not limited to maintaining adequate controls necessary to secure all tools/equipment when not in use and when in use to have them under supervision at all times.
