Description

TASK 1: DATA COLLECTION, REVIEW, AND PROJECT COORDINATION The Consultant shall initiate the project by coordinating with the Authority to establish communication protocols, confirm project expectations, and collect all available well and San Diego Formation information. TASK 2: WELL SITING STUDY TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM Based on the data and documents reviewed under Task 1, the Consultant shall first conduct a desktop analysis, and then perform a field review of the top 10 candidate sites to identify suitable locations for five proposed wells. A specific area of southern Chula Vista will be determined by the Authority and given to the Consultant for the study. TASK 3: FIELD HYDROLOGICAL STUDY AND ZONE SAMPLE WELL PLAN Based on the findings and recommendations from Task 2, the Consultant shall conduct a field hydrogeologic study. This study shall include a zone sample well at the highest-ranked site identified in Task 2. TASK 4: FINAL WELL SITING STUDY PREPARATION AND DELIVERABLES The Consultant shall compile all findings, comments, and recommendations into a clear, comprehensive well siting study to locate five new wells in southern Chula Vista. Submission of final deliverables in: • PDF format • Fully editable electronic files (Word, Excel, GIS files as applicable)
