The City is currently seeking to pre-qualify Deep Utilities Contractors to be used on an as-needed basis to be used for utility installs and repairs. The following list is an example of the services required by the contractors. All services will be required to follow City specifications for sanitary, water, backfill, etc. The list is not exhaustive, and the City reserves the right to add/remove services to the list as required at its sole and unfettered discretion. Provide service cost estimates for new water and sewer services required with new development permits. The City will provide the contractor with existing utility information, sizing of new servicing, distance from mains to property line, number of services. If the work falls outside of that listed on the itemized rate sheet, the contractor will provide a detailed estimate. Generally, the work is quoted as material and labour for these jobs and they are given a two week to one month timeframe.
