Renovation of a transportation facility in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing duel fuel boiler, associated mechanical and plumbing equipment, and downstream heater units and related plumbing equipment. Specific tasks include removal of the current duel fuel boiler and related branch piping and ductwork as specified in the Plan Set, removal of Level 1 and Lower Level piping and damaged insulation, removal and replacement of existing floor and wall mounted heaters and associated piping, preparation of retained heaters for new control valves, removal and replacement of air intake ductwork and equipment, installation of two condensing boilers and one duel fuel boiler with their mechanical and plumbing equipment, installation of new unit heaters and baseboard heaters with new piping, insulation, and valves, and installation of thermostats to control heater units with connections to the building management system. All bids must be made on required forms with all certificates, documentation, and information as stated in the IFB Documents and must be accompanied by bid security as specified. Bids that do not meet the requirements will be considered non-responsive. The right is reserved to waive minor informalities or irregularities in bids. No bid is binding unless awarded at a public meeting, duly executed by both parties, and all contract conditions are fulfilled. Bids should be submitted by mail or hand delivery, sealed and properly identified, and are due by the specified deadline. Any communications outside of procurement staff during the bid period is grounds for disqualification. Any questions of request for clarification are due from Bidders on March 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm Central Daylight Time and submitted on the appropriate form included in the IFB.
