A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: The Project is an exterior addition of a secure Ground (2nd) floor Vehicular Sally port with garage space. A new exterior dedicated elevator will be constructed to provide direct access between 2nd floor VSP and 9th, 10th, and 11rh floors. Interior work at the Basement (1st) floor includes the construction of mechanical platforms for the installation of future electrical switchgear. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. M/WBE 33%. Project No. 48202203 Located at Woodhull Hospital, 760 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11206, the project involves exterior work in masonry, metal, concrete, and MEP trades. Only bidders who attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be allowed to bid. The Contractor shall not make subcontracts totaling more than 75% of the Contract Price nor provide less than 25% of the labor requirement of the project with the Contractor's own employees. All bids must be in accordance with the terms of the NYC Health and Hospitals (HHC) Project Labor Agreement, and the awarded contractor will be required to execute and submit a Letter of Assent. Beginning January 1, 2026, all certified payrolls for contracts bid on or after December 31, 2025 must be submitted electronically through NYC eComply. Under Article 15A of The State of New York, the following M/WBE goals apply to this contract: M/WBE 33%. These goals apply to any bid submitted of $500,000 or more.
