The Town of Federalsburg is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors for the replacement and installation of a new generator and/or transfer switch at the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for either: 1) removal and replacement of the existing WWTP generator, including a new concrete pad and reworking of underground conduits and power wiring; or 2) removal and replacement of the existing transfer switch, including reworking of control and power wiring. Proposals must address specific requirements and provide all required information, or they will be rejected. Incomplete proposals or proposals received after the due date will not be considered. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, waive informalities, and select vendors based on qualifications, references, cost, time to supply materials and complete the work, and warranties, not solely on price. Minority-owned, women-owned, and small business enterprises are encouraged to participate.
