This request for proposals covers areas included in the approved concept plan for the south/central areas of the park. Design features include walkways, adult games areas, site furnishings, tree plantings, irrigation, concessions stand, bathrooms, and a small stage area. The design team must advance the existing concept plans for these areas through design development, culminating in construction bid documents and specifications, and must have working knowledge of OSLAD Grant guidelines and reporting requirements. Submissions must include, at a minimum: - Data Collection: Review provided plans, specifications, grant information, and document existing conditions. - Design Analysis: Provide additional conceptual information, refine Stage 3 Concept Plan, propose irrigation zones, and update preliminary cost estimates for current and future stages. - Development of Design and Details: Develop design elements and prepare detailed construction plans, specifications, irrigation plans, cost estimates, and color plan exhibits for the Stage 3 portions of the park. Deliverables include hand-colored or photo-rendered exhibits mounted on 24" x 36" boards and digital versions. - Supervision, Administration, and Project Coordination: Project setup, design meetings, biweekly status reports, monthly invoices, at least two committee meetings, and adherence to OSLAD reporting requirements. - Construction Documents: Incorporate final changes, prepare and deliver Stage 3 construction documents in both digital and hard copy formats. Instructions to bidders include submitting a statement of project understanding, listing key personnel and related experience, detailing unique firm qualifications, referencing applicable OSLAD Grant projects, and submitting a total cost proposal with an hourly breakdown of key personnel in a separate submittal.
