The project involves the furnishing of necessary materials and construction for the SR 91/Terex Turn Lane Improvements (PID 116929) for the City of Hudson, Ohio. The proposed work consists of intersection improvements at SR 91 and Terex Road, including striping modifications to improve left turn lane offsets at Terex Road and extension of the eastbound left turn lane on Terex Road in the City of Hudson, in accordance with the provided specifications. Question Deadline 04/01/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing through the website Online. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. All bids must be submitted through the Bid Express website. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Hudson. All bidders are required to submit a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Utilization Plan within 2 hours following the bid opening, detailing how the SBE contract goal will be achieved. The SBE participation goal for this project is set at 7%. Only those certified as SBEs in accordance with TEA-21 (1998), 49 CFR Part 26, and qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code are eligible for SBE participation. If national communications are disrupted or Bid Express services are lost close to the submission deadline, the City will delay the deadline to accommodate bidders. The City of Hudson reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive nonconformities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
