The City of Mesa is seeking up to two qualified Construction Managers at Risk (CMARs) to provide Pre-Construction Services and complete Construction Services for the Eastmark and Red Mountain Aquatic Complex projects. The projects involve constructing new aquatic complexes at 9603 E Point Twenty-Two Boulevard and at 7550 E Adobe Street, including demolition and construction, competition and/or lap pool and diving well, recreation pool with water slides, pool deck with gutter systems, a building for pool offices with an enclosed bathhouse, mechanical equipment building for pumps and maintenance, ramadas, lighting, bleachers with shade structures for pool events, multi-use turf areas, vehicle parking lots, loading zones, pedestrian areas, sidewalks, and other associated work. The estimated construction cost for each complex is $20,000,000. The CMAR will participate in both Pre-Construction and Construction Services, which may include responsibilities such as project planning and scheduling, constructability reviews, value engineering, cost estimating, procurement, construction phasing, serving as the general contractor, coordinating with utilities, managing site operations, providing quality control, and ensuring bonding and insurance. The Statement of Qualifications shall include a one-page cover letter with current company/firm contact information, and a maximum of ten pages addressing the SOQ evaluation criteria, including an organizational chart with key personnel and their affiliation.
