Sealed Bids will be received by the Purchasing Department of the Village of Rockville Centre for electric and lighting infrastructure upgrades at Parking Field #9 and #19. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank check, or bid bond payable to the Incorporated Village of Rockville Centre in the amount of five percent of the gross amount of the bid. All contractors and subcontractors submitting bids or performing construction work on public work projects or covered private projects are required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i and must include a copy of the registration with their bid response. Award of Contract will be made to the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with applicable provisions of the law. The Village reserves the right to reject all bids or make such determination as in the best interests of the Village, as provided by law.
