Description

Renovation of a transportation facility in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

Project Description: The project consists of the removal of an existing hydraulic bus lift and replacement with a new hydraulic bus lift in the chassis wash bay at PVTA's UMass Transit facility. The project includes concrete work, plumbing and electrical. The new lift is Owner provided and Contractor installed. Pre-Bid Meeting 03/24/2026 at 10:00 AM ET Prebid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting for all qualified bidders will be held at UMass Transit Facility, 185 Holdsworth Way, Amherst, MA 01002 Although the meeting is not mandatory, prospective bidders are requested to attend, and will be deemed to know everything that could reasonably have been ascertained at such a meeting. Bidders will have an opportunity to view the site of the work following the pre-bid meeting.
