Repair Runway 18-36 Question Deadline 04/06/2026 at 12:00 PM CT Estimate of major quantities: Concrete Pavement Removal, 7,650 S.Y.; Concrete Pavement 16-Inch, 7,650 S.Y.; Joint Sealing Filler, 93,475 L.F.; Pavement Markings, 6,540 S.F.; Partial Depth Concrete Repairs, 590 S.F.; HMA Pavement, 35 Tons; Rubber Removal, 450,500 S.F.; Macro-Texturing, 120,000 S.F. A paper hard copy prequalification is required to be submitted PRIOR to the bid opening. The proper prequalification form must be sent to the DOT to establish prequalification and remain valid prior to the deadline for prequalification indicated below. Prequalifications submitted after the deadline will be processed but a bid from that firm will not be opened for any project where the deadline has been exceeded. Only prime or general contractors submitting the bid need to be prequalified; subcontractors do not need to be prequalified. WI DOT - Dane County Regional Airport - Repair Runway 18-36 Mandatory Pre-bid conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Airport Terminal Building, Conference Room 1, located at the north end of the building by baggage claim. A physical visit of the site may be authorized by the airport on a case-by-case basis and must be scheduled and coordinated with airport management. Questions arising from site visits shall be submitted by email to the contact person below. Answers will be provided to all plan holders via a subsequent addendum. The purpose of the meeting and site visit will be to familiarize all concerned persons with the project and conditions at the airport. This meeting is MANDATORY for all prime contractors who plan to submit a bid. The prime contractor must sign in at the pre-bid conference to be authorized to bid on the project.
