Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract, or contracts, to provide Sports Field Lighting Installation and Repair at various WCPSS facilities throughout the district now or hereafter owned, leased, or possessed by WCPSS. Only Vendors registered with the State of North Carolina's Electronic Vendor Portal can respond to this type of Solicitation. Question Deadline 04/15/2026 at 11:00 AM ET Questions submitted to: bids-crogers7@wcpss.net Provide Response to Questions WCPSS April 17, 2026 The contract service shall be for a period of one (1) year and shall begin July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027 Sports Field Lighting Installation/Repair (JOC) - Contractor must carry unlimited license and proper certifications. Contractors shall have adequate and qualified personnel in order to provide WCPSS with the service and/or response time requested. Scope of work includes installation, maintenance and repair of sports field lighting. Sports field lighting includes lighting for baseball and football fields, and area lights. The contractor must be able to work with all voltages. Must be able to work unsupervised. Must be able to handle multiple calls at one time, respond on a 24-hour, 7-day basis, and will be expected to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours and must have appropriate equipment to service all lighting needs. Contractors will abide by NFPA 70E for safely working on all electrical systems. Contractor is responsible for any required permitting in order to perform job task
