Qualified Consulting Engineering firms are invited to provide geotechnical and soil quality investigation services for various municipal infrastructure capital projects. The firm must be authorized by Professional Engineers Ontario to provide engineering services and must include proof of certification. The firm must also be registered with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario as a Prequalified Engineering Service Provider under specified sub-categories. Responsibilities include completion of geotechnical and soil quality field investigations (such as boreholes and test pits) and development of Geotechnical Investigation Reports, Assessment of Past Use reports, Sampling and Analysis Plans, and Soil Characterization Reports for future capital construction projects. A list of required locations will be provided to the successful proponent. Bid submissions are to be made in hard copy.
