Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hillside, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Disclaimer: If you want to bid on a project, you MUST send and email to info@ehancock.com This project will include the replacement of concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and drainage structures, replacement of certain sections of storm and sanitary sewer, replacement of fire hydrants, milling and resurfacing pavements, pavement markings, landscaping disturbed areas, and performing other related work. All bidders wishing to obtain bidding documents must be approved by the Village prior to obtaining bidding documents. All bidders must provide proof that they are prequalified with the Illinois Department of Transportation to perform at least 40% of the value of the work before being issued bidding documents. Proposals will only be accepted from bidders that have obtained bidding documents from the Edwin Hancock Engineering Company. All bid proposals offered must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and the performance of the contract properly secured. Any bidder in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the bidding documents may request an interpretation thereof from the Village. The Contractor and Subcontractor shall comply with all regulations issued pursuant to Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130), and other applicable Federal Laws and regulations pertaining to labor standards. The Village of Berkeley reserves the right to determine the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, to waive irregularities, and to reject any or all bid proposals.
