The project consists generally of roof repair including removal of damaged roofing materials and installation of roofing membrane, insulation, flashing, fascia, soffit, gutters, and related repairs. Bidders must hold a valid Arkansas Commercial Contractor's License and provide proof of general liability and workers' compensation insurance. This project is being bid pursuant to Arkansas procurement laws. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding process. Bids may be held for up to ninety (90) days following bid opening. The City of Malvern is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for roof repair at the Community Center. Work includes removal of damaged roofing materials and installation of roofing membrane, insulation, flashing, fascia, soffit, gutters, and related repairs as identified in the adjuster estimate. Contractors shall review the attached adjuster estimate and inspect the site prior to bidding. Submission of a bid shall constitute acknowledgment that the contractor has examined the site conditions and accepts responsibility for completing the work within the submitted bid amount unless additional work is authorized in writing by the City of Malvern. Contractor Requirements o Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. o Remove and properly dispose of damaged roofing materials. o Install roofing materials according to manufacturer specifications. o Replace flashing, metal components, gutters, fascia, soffit, and related components as required. o Comply with Arkansas Building Code and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. o Hold a valid Arkansas Commercial Contractor's License. o Provide proof of general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. o Provide applicable manufacturer warranties.
