Renovation of an educational facility in Walnut, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
**As of April 22, 2026, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid.** The work to be performed by the Contractor shall conform to the requirements of all of Division 1 as well as the General Conditions, Special Conditions, Specifications, all sheets in Drawings and other related documents, and includes the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, plan and services necessary therefore and incidental thereto to complete the project. The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following 1.2.1.1 Construct the new concrete ball wall with foundation 1.2.1.3 The contractor shall provide daily off-site clean-up of all mud, dirt, dust, and debris from the construction work. 1.2.1.5 Review all as-builts, and site survey plot plans, and contact all agencies and the Architect before excavation to ensure that all utility services will not be disrupted. 1.2.1.6 Provide all necessary shoring, barricades, caution tape, and trench plates for open excavations made by this bid package to maintain safety requirements and as necessary to meet building and safety codes that are required in the General Conditions. Any bidder may file a bid protest. The protest shall be filed in writing with the District's Director of Purchasing not more than five (5) business days after the date of the bid opening. This Project is being let in accordance with the formal bid requirements of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act ("CUPCCAA") set forth m Public Contract Code section 22000 et seq. (specifically, the formal biddmg procedures in Section 22032(c)). Bidders shall comply with any requirements set forth in the CUPCCAA including all guidelines and requirements in the current California Uniform Public Construction C ost Accounting Commission Cost Accounting Policies and Procedures Manual. The Contract Tmie is 60 calendar days.
