Question Deadline 04/01/2026 at 12:00 PM ET Questions concerning their IFB must be submitted by email to Purchasing@Watertown-ma.gov. Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, Forest Street and Springfield Street. The project limits start at the intersection of Orchard Street and Springfield Street to the north and extends approximately 2,700 feet south to the intersection of Forest Street and the Linear Path. The project includes reclamation of both roadways and the reconstruction of existing sidewalks using granite curb and cement concrete, cement concrete curb ramps and driveways to meet ADA/AAB requirements. The scope also includes bump outs, raised pedestrian tables (Springfield & Fitchburg Streets and Forest & Summer Streets), tree trenches, minor stormwater BMP improvements, minor drainage improvements, replacement of approximately 500 feet of water main (intersections of Fitchburg Street & Springfield Street and Worcester Street & Springfield Street), and relatedwork as directed by the DPW Director or City Engineer. Bids shall be based on the plans, construction details, items, and special provisions included as part of the contract book.
