Expression of interest for the interior works of the Fighter Squadron Facility in Cold Lake. The publicly tendered scopes are: Masonry, Millwork, Wall Coverings, Specialties (including Visual Display Boards, Toilet Compartments, Toilet and Bath Accessories, Lockers, Postage Specialties, Flag Poles, Entrance Floor Grilles), Bird Control Devices, Metal Storage Shelves, Architectural Misc. Metals, Overhead & Coiling Doors, Loading Dock Equipment, Drywall & Steel Stud, Interior Glazing, Flooring, Concrete Polishing, Resinous Flooring, Access Flooring, Painting, Folding Panel Partitions, Chain Link Partitions, Signage, Shop Equipment, Industrial Workbench, Cold Storage, Window Coverings, Furniture (FF&E), Cranes, Paint Spray Booth, Storage Cabinets, Material Handling Equipment, Fall Arrest System, Personnel Extraction System. Subcontractor to assume responsibility for all labour and materials for specific scope of work. All quotations shall be valid for the duration of the Bid Validity period as noted in the Bid Documents. Lowest tender not necessarily accepted. Successful bidders will be required to sign EllisDon's Standard Form of Subcontractor Agreement. Trades are expected to follow, at the minimum, the scope guidelines and standards set forth by the latest edition of the Alberta Construction Trade Definitions. Subcontracts over $100,000 are required to use EllisDon's SUBcentre project management system and will be subject to a non-negotiable Gate Three fee. All contractors will be subject to the requirements and standards stated in the tender documentation. All Bidders must apply and meet EllisDon's Subguard criteria on all contracts over $500,000. Subcontractor Default Insurance is being used on this Project and bidders will not be required to provide a performance and payment bond, provided the Subcontractor has successfully pre-qualified for the insurance program. Subcontracts with a value in excess of $500,000 must have Contract Performance Security in the form of an acceptance and rating from EllisDon, equal to or in excess of the subcontract amount, or the subcontractor must supplement the security with alternate forms acceptable to EllisDon at the Subcontractor's expense. The EllisDon "Subcontractor Default Insurance PreQualification Application" must be completed.
