Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Hector, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility.
**As of May 13, 2026, the project was awarded to Mathiowetz Construction, with an awarded amount of $3,131,748.58** The work includes 18,000 square yards of 2-inch bituminous removal, 50,000 square yards of 2-inch bituminous paving, 8,500 cubic yards of select granular, 7,100 cubic yards of Class 5 aggregate base, 25,000 square yards of geotextile fabric, 6,000 linear feet of 6-inch edge underdrains, 600 linear feet of 12-15 inch RCP storm sewer, installation of PAPIs and REILs, runway lighting, 3,200 linear feet of silt fence, 20 acres of turf establishment, 20,000 square feet of pavement markings, and other associated items. Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder even if Bidding Documents are obtained from another source. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will only be offered through the designated website. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a deposit; conditions regarding refunds for returned documents apply. AIP 3-27-0040-18-2025 (Design) AIP 3-27-0040-20-2026 (Construction) Goals for minority participation for each trade: 1.0% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% The Work will start on or after September 21, 2026, be completed and be substantially complete on or before September 30, 2027, and be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before November 30, 2027. Question Deadline 04/02/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
