As of April 28, 2026 project was awarded to Mid City Corporation., awarded amount is $1,433,812.50. The work under this Contract will include private lead service line replacements at locations where the City of West Allis has previously replaced the portion of the water service located under the street. The scope involves lead abatement, water utilities, plumbing, trenchless utility construction, waterlines, removal and replacement of pipe, directional drilling, concrete formed flatwork foundation, concrete repair, sawcutting sidewalk pavement, sewer and water construction, traffic control, water wastewater infrastructure, electrical, televising sewers, and work at water and wastewater facilities. Pre-qualification: Required and consisting of the following approximate quantities: 1. Pre-Construction Site Investigation.................................................................. 225 Each 2. 1" Dia. Private Water Service (225) ................................................................. 6,750 Lin. Ft. 3. Reconnection to Interior Water Distribution Piping............................................ 225 Units 4. Additional Interior Water Plumbing................................................................. 1,125 Lin. Ft. 5. Video Inspection of Sanitary Sewer Lateral (225) ............................................... 450 Each 6. 5" Concrete Sidewalk & Driveway ................................................................11,250 Sq. Ft. All questions about the meaning or intent of the contract documents are to be directed to the City Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Engineer as having received proposal forms. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
