The City of Watertown is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform lead gooseneck replacement within the city. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided and accompanied by a bid security amounting to five percent of the bid. Only electronically submitted bids will be accepted; hand-delivered bids are not allowed. Contractors must be prequalified by Mass DOT for the class of work Sewer and Water at the appropriate dollar threshold. The estimated value of the contract is $365,169.67. Minimum wage rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development apply. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality. The City encourages participation from MBE, WBE, and DBE firms. There are no filed sub-bids. * This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid).
