Evans Towne Center Park:535 Antebellum Way, Evans, GA 30909 The Project consists of the construction of restroom buildings located in two different parks. Evans Towne Center will require the installation of sidewalks and a modification to two parking spaces, conveting them to HC accessible spaces. Other work includes the installation of a new electrical transformer, water line, and site work, across the road, along Antebellum Way. This includes tie-in to water and sewer lines on Columbia County Property. The site work on Antebellum Way (for Ice Rink set-up) is to be complete by SEPTEMBER 1 2026. ALL SITE WORK, INFRASTRUCTURE, UTILITIES, AND ANY OTHER ITEMS REQUIRED BY THE END USER FOR THE ICE RINK IS TO BE COMPLETED BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2026. The Racquet Center will consist of installing the building in an occupied and active park on a site already prepared under a separate project. Connections to services are located within feet of the building pad. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct two restroom facilities, one at Evans Towne Center Park and the other at the Columbia County Racquet Center, with the Evans Towne Center Park site also including the installation of utilities to accommodate the new ice rink location across Antebellum Way. All bidders must have a State of Georgia General Contractor's License and a Columbia County business license. Bids for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the electronic forms provided. All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of Columbia County, Georgia, in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work. If awarded the contract, the Bidder must promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid Bonds must be forfeited as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide the required bonds within ten (10) days of notification of award. Letters of credit will not be accepted. Bid bonds for electronic bids should be uploaded as directed. Drawings and Specifications may be downloaded free of charge. All questions should be submitted online, and receipt of any/all addenda must be acknowledged prior to contract award. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Any objections to the specifications or contract documents must be submitted online five days prior to bid opening. The contractor is responsible for verifying issuance of all addenda, and addenda must be acknowledged prior to award.
