Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Longview, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 52,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The University of Texas at Tyler is requesting proposals for supervision, materials, equipment, and labor for renovations and improvements to the Longview University Center. The scope of work includes all related tasks described in the construction documents associated with this solicitation. Work categories include demolition services; fire alarm and safety services including installation of equipment; land surveying; concrete; maintenance and repair of highways and roads; earth moving equipment rental or lease; street and parking facility striping; electrical maintenance and repair; mechanical pump and shaft seals; mechanical engineering; plumbing; automation, controls, and instrumentation; audio visual equipment and supplies; networking services including installation, security, and maintenance; flooring maintenance and repair; wall and ceiling maintenance, repair, and replacement including drywall; grout and drywall; painting maintenance and repair including caulking; painting and wallpapering; sealants and waterplugs; millwork including counters, custom-made cabinets, shelves, and stairs; glass and glazing; doors and windows including parts and accessories; general construction and architectural work; general construction management, scheduling, and cost estimation; landscaping (excluding grounds maintenance or tree trimming services); plumbing fixtures and parts such as lavatories, showers, sinks, toilets, toilet seats, tubs, etc.; hospital and medical equipment maintenance and repair; cleaning of interior and exterior of new construction; fire alarm systems, power sirens, and controls; fire suppression foam and other suppression compounds. All work is to be performed for the Longview University Center as described in the construction documents issued with this request for proposal.
