Renovation of a stadium in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
Decarb Renovation Phase 2: Stadium Courts. Removal and disposal of two layers of siding, windows, and exterior doors. Air sealing, insulating, re-cladding exterior walls for 12 residential townhouse buildings at Stadium Courts family development (86 dwelling units). Re-roof porch roofs and sections of high roofs beside walls being reclad. Removal and installation of new circuits for wall-mounted fixtures and new receptacles at porches. Removal of clothes dryer exhaust ducts and installation of new ducts. Wall-mounted fixtures, appurtenances, and through-wall utility penetrations to be extended to new drainage plane, new terminations and fixtures provided, some existing to be re-installed. Project Number 149083 Estimated Cost $12,500,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Sub Bid Category Miscellaneous and Ornamental Metals, Roofing and Flashing, Painting, Plumbing, Heating / Ventilation / Air-Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical Work The development will be occupied during construction. RRP licenses for each trade and Work Plans for Compliance with Lead Spec Section are required. A freestanding Mock-up for early review by the Owner, Department, & Architect is required. Sub-bidders on this M.G.L. c. 149 project are required by law to provide Payment & Performance Bonds for the full value of their Filed Sub-bid Contracts, & Filed Sub-bidders must include the full cost of the required Payment & Performance Bonds in the Bid price they submit in response to this RFB. Bids will only be accepted from Pre-Qualified General Bidders & from Filed Sub-bidders that are Pre-Qualified and DCAMM Certified in their respective trade. The participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than 7% MBE, 8.2% WBE and 3% VBE The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
