Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Alpena, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work consists of installation of all concrete related items including, but not limited to, sidewalk and sidewalk ramps, driveways, and curb and gutter. The contractor is required to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications. Invoices for work completed must be submitted every ninety days for processing. Bidders must provide a bid bond or equivalent security for at least five percent of the bid amount if the estimated cost exceeds $35,000. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept bids deemed most advantageous. Bidders are instructed to refer to Section III., Award Process, A. Evaluation, as the language has changed. Sealed bids must be submitted and labeled as instructed. Questions regarding the bid contents should be directed to the City of Alpena Engineering Department via letter, written facsimile (989) 354-1709 or e-mail to enginesr@aipena.mj.us, Site Visit The City of Alpena may conduct a site visit to tour and inspect the bidder's facilities. The City of Alpena will schedule these visits, if required.
