Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Chicago, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed proposals are solicited for the furnishing of all labor, materials, use of contractor's equipment, plant, and all else necessary to construct all improvements designated as Flanagan Pointe 177th St and Fort St Culvert. The scope includes mobilization, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, installation of various sizes of R.C.P. with bedding, televising storm sewer after paving, installation of flared end section and area inlet, construction of Type B rip rap, 18" concrete collar, common earthwork, removal of 7" pavement, construction of 9" concrete pavement (Type OPW4000), and permanent Type B seeding with matting. All work must comply strictly with the provided drawings and specifications. Instructions to bidders: - Bids must be submitted on the proposal form provided. - Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for $3,260.00 in a separate sealed envelope as evidence of good faith. - The accepted bidder must enter into contract within ten days after Notice of Award and furnish a bond equal to 100% of the total bid price. - No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening. - Drawings, specifications, and contract documents are available for examination and may be procured for a non-refundable fee. - The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
