Site work for a water / sewer project in Ball, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes the installation of approximately 9,600 linear feet of 14-inch sewer force main, 1,100 linear feet of 16-inch sewer force main, 4,400 linear feet of 8-inch sewer force main, 250 linear feet of 10-inch sewer force main and related appurtenances. Bidders must deposit with the bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price. Bid bonds must be written by a surety or insurance company meeting specified requirements. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount, with the surety or insurance company meeting the required criteria. The successful bidder must have an active Unique Entity ID (UEI) and be registered with the Federal System of Award (SAM) Registration Program prior to award of contract. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Provisions and requirements in the Bidding Documents shall not be considered as informalities and will not be waived. Bidding documents are available for a deposit, refundable under certain conditions upon return in good condition. Question Deadline 04/04/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the ENGINEER. Small and minority-owned firms and women's business enterprises are encouraged to apply. Special accommodations for persons with disabilities must be requested no later than seven days before the bid opening.
