Site work for a water / sewer project in Anaheim, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of constructing a new 8-inch VCP sewer line between two existing brick manholes. The two existing brick manholes will be replaced with precast manholes at the intersection of Broadway and Elder St. The work also includes street rehabilitation over the sewer improvements, replacement of traffic striping and pavement markings, adjustments of water valve covers, and all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and specifications. The project is subject to a Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) that requires the awarded contractor and its subcontractors to agree to and be bound by the CWA by signing a Letter of Assent. The City will evaluate the Total Base Bid Proposal and select the lowest responsive responsible Base Bid bidder. Work under any Alternative Bid may be authorized at the City's sole discretion and budget availability. All bids must be in accordance with the Invitation to Bidders and Instructions to Bidders. Contractors or subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations as required by law, and the project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations.
