Recapitalize infrastructure assets at the John Weir Foote (JFA) Armoury in Hamilton, Ontario. TIMELINE: An Advanced Procurement Notice has been issued by the owner. The delivery method for this project will be Construction Management. The purpose of this project is to retain the services of a contractor to provide construction management services of pre-construction and construction phases. The program will include planned phased work packages for implementation over a 5–10 year period while maintaining operations at the site. Major construction services are expected to include vertical infrastructure (new and or existing structures), recapitalization of buildings, upgrade of existing building systems and or components, and horizontal infrastructure including water distribution, stormwater collection, wastewater collection, stream distribution and return, electrical distribution, natural gas distribution, and surface level systems (asphalt, sidewalks). It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in June 2026. This is conditional on receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND). Updates will be made upon issuance of ITB. *The estimated construction cost is in the order of $136,000,000. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com
