New construction of a military facility in London, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a military facility.
This project will address infrastructure requirements to fully recapitalize infrastructure at Wolseley Barracks in London, Ontario. The delivery method for this project will be Construction Management. The purpose of this project is to retain the services of a contractor to provide construction management services of pre-construction and construction phases. The program will include planned phased work packages for implementation over a 10–15 year period while maintaining operations at the site. Major construction services are expected to include vertical infrastructure (new and/or existing structures), construction of new buildings, recapitalization of buildings, upgrade of existing building systems and/or components; horizontal infrastructure including water distribution, stormwater collection, wastewater collection, stream distribution and return, electrical distribution, natural gas distribution, and surface level systems (asphalt, sidewalks). The estimated construction cost is in the order of $83,000,000. TIMELINE: Owner has issued an Advance Procurement Notice. It is anticipated that this solicitation will be initiated in June 2026. This is conditional on receiving approval to proceed by the Department of National Defence (DND).
