Scope of Work includes: Clearing and Grubbing and Water Treatment Plant Interim Grading and Access Plan. Instructions to Bidders: Sealed bids will be received. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference by either the bidder or a representative is required, and no bid will be opened unless this is met. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to enter into the contract and execute the bonds and provide required insurance certificates and bonds within seven (7) days after receiving the contract documents. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the original must be delivered to the noted address within one business day of bid opening. Bidding documents may be reviewed and obtained online with no charge. Bidders agree that contract documents may be accepted, executed, or agreed to using electronic signatures in accordance with the owner's rules. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all defects and irregularities except the time for submitting a bid. The successful bidder will be the one that, in the board's judgment, is most advantageous to the district and results in the best and most economical completion of the project.
