Environmental architecture and engineering services are required to support field investigations; preparation of plans, specifications, studies, calculations, and cost estimates; laboratory analysis; and development of worker health and safety plans, sampling plans, and related documentation. Work includes performing field sampling of groundwater, soil, sediment, surface water, and air; preparing spill prevention, containment, and countermeasure plans; conducting noise evaluations; supporting industrial wastewater pretreatment and air quality assessments, including emission inventories and indoor air quality; and developing environmental impact statements and environmental assessments in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act. Additional services include conducting environmental site assessments under applicable federal statutes, supporting hazardous material storage and handling, performing groundwater assessments, installing and abandoning wells, managing SARA Title III program activities, providing PCB abatement, conducting pollution prevention opportunity assessments, and performing remediation of contaminants in air, soil, sediment, groundwater, and surface water. Work also encompasses evaluation and mitigation of vapor intrusion, assessment of environmental contaminants of emerging concern, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and management of fuel storage tanks, including preparation of specifications and drawings.
