Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the remodel of a multi-residential development.
The project involves work associated with the Northwest Student Housing Remodel at the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, North Dakota. Bidders are expected to fully inform themselves of existing conditions and limitations under which the work is to be performed and include in their bids all necessary costs to perform the work as set forth in the contract documents. Multiple prime bids for general work will be accepted, and single prime bids will only be awarded if lower than the combined lowest responsible prime bids. Bids must be submitted on the supplied Bid Form, in accordance with the bidding documents prepared by Shultz + Associates Architects. Bids not using the supplied forms will be rejected. Each bid shall consist of two sealed envelopes: one marked "Bid Proposal" containing two copies of the bid form and the other marked "Bid Bond" containing a Bidder's Security Bond equaling five percent of the bid amount, along with a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License or certificate of renewal. Instructions specify labeling of the "Bid Proposal" envelope with contractor's name and address, project name, bid date/time, and acknowledgment of addenda received. Bids must comply with N.D.C.C Ch 48-01-.2. Refer to the Information to Bidders for specific submittal instructions. All construction items must be completed by the defined schedule. Successful bidders must, at contract execution, provide a Sales Tax Certificate, Workers' Compensation Certificate, Certificate of Insurance including North Dakota Stop Gap and Builders Risk coverage, Additional Insured Statement, Waiver of Subrogation, Company Safety Manual, and North Dakota University System Performance - Payment Bond. No base or alternate bids may be withdrawn for 45 days following bid opening.
