Due to the existing coating reaching the end of its design life, the structure requires extensive coating failure and corrosion remediation and system upgrades. o Exterior Restoration: Full containment and SSPC-SP6 Commercial Blast Cleaning, finished with a high-performance three-coat system. o Interior Wet/Dry Maintenance: SSPC-SP10 Near-White Blasting for the wet interior and SSPCSP6 for dry areas, both receiving a two-coat protective system. o Pump House Piping: SSPC-SP6 Commercial blast cleaning, finished with a two-coat zinc, epoxy system. o Foundation Surface: Pressure wash clean foundation, finished with a two-coat epoxy system. o Mechanical & Safety Upgrades: Weld-seal access tube vent. o Compliance & Access: New aviation lighting, an overflow flap gate screen. A. Project Overview: 1) Under full containment abrasive blast, the exterior to a commercial blast clean (SSPC-SP6) standard, followed by a three (3) coat zinc, high-performance acrylic urethane, fluoropolymer coating system 2) Abrasive blast the interior dry area to a commercial blast clean (SSPC-SP6) standard. Followed by a two (2) coat zinc primer, epoxy topcoat coating system. 3) Abrasive blast the interior wet to near white finish (SSPC-SP10) standard. Followed by a two (2) coat zinc primer, high-solids epoxy topcoat coating system. 4) Install new overflow flap gate screen. 5) Weld seal the access tube vent. 6) Install new aviation lights (in kind).
