The project requires firms to provide labor, materials, equipment, and construction services for the CPP-N Framework Roadway, Phase 1, Landscape and Irrigation Installation Work. This includes site preparation, material procurement, installation and maintenance required until final acceptance, and a written guarantee of survivability of all plant material for one year from the date of completion. The installation covers approximately 0.5 mile of Framework Roadway extending north from existing Clay Whaley Road within the Crossprairie / Edgewater East community. Eligible firms must hold all required local, state, and federal licenses in good standing and be authorized to do business in Osceola County and the State of Florida. Proposals must be submitted in the required form, including one original and one electronic copy, a schedule of values in Microsoft Excel and PDF format, and all documents on a USB flash drive. Each proposal must include a bid bond or cashier's check equal to five percent of the total amount of the bid. The successful proposer will be required to furnish a payment and performance bond for one hundred percent of the contract value. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with criteria in the project specification package, and the District reserves the right to make modifications to the work and to reject any or all proposals. All substantive questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing.
