The District is seeking to prequalify design-build entities or design-build teams to submit proposals to design and construct the Mission San Jose High School New Construction Project. Only respondents prequalified through this process will be eligible to submit proposals for the project. Respondents must submit a completed and sealed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ), using the District's standard prequalification template for design-build projects. Four hard copies and a soft copy (via flash drive or email) must be submitted by the deadline. Oral, telegraphic, facsimile, telephone, or email SOQs will not be accepted. Late submissions will be returned unopened. The District reserves the right to waive irregularities and omissions in the SOQ, use other sources to verify respondent information, and suspend or rescind prequalification based on new information. Each SOQ must be certified under penalty of perjury, and respondents must notify the District immediately if any information becomes inaccurate and provide updated information in writing under penalty of perjury. Construction of a new approximately 70,000 SF two-story administration and classroom building with associated sitework and improvements to replace existing occupied school buildings. The project includes phasing of abatement, demolition, site work, modernization, and new improvements in order to transition from the old facilities and to construct the new buildings. District reserves the right to waive irregularities and omissions in the information contained in any SOQ, and to make final determinations.
