Site work for a water / sewer project in Energy, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project: Illinois Route 148 Utility Extensions. Location: Energy, Illinois. The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install new 6" water mains, fire hydrants and auxiliary valves, gate valves, interconnections, service connections, 8" sanitary sewer, manhole, miscellaneous appurtenances, and related work. Contractors must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, paying laborers, workmen, and mechanics not less than the prevailing rates of wages and must meet all record keeping and notice requirements. The procurement is subject to American Iron and Steel Requirement regulations. Instructions to bidders: Plans and Bid Documents may be examined at specified engineering and builders association locations. Documents can be purchased from Farley Engineering for $150. The following proposal forms must be returned by the Bidder: Contract Document (Cover Sheet), Table of Contents, Advertisement of Bid, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form/Schedule of Prices, and Bid Bond. Submission of a bid is assurance the Bidder has examined the documents and understands all requirements. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes clearly marked as to contents. Bids received after the specified time will be returned unopened. Bidders may withdraw a bid in writing or in person prior to the opening time.
