The Regional District of North Okanagan is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for the fabrication of five thousand cubic metres of soil for the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Landfill Phase 2A Closure and the future Phase 2B Closure. The quantity of fabricated soil required for the Phase 2A Closure is approximately 3,275 cubic metres. The estimated quantity required for the future Phase 2B Closure is 1,725 cubic metres. The fabricated soil will be a blend of yard and garden waste compost (RDNO-Gro) and biosolids compost from the City of Kelowna/City of Vernon Regional Compost Facility. Contractors are required to submit proposals electronically in PDF format by the closing date, including the specified RFP number and project title in the subject line. It is requested that contractors register their interest via email as specified.
