The proposed construction will include base repair in some locations, wedge and level of some existing roadways, HMA Surface overlay, and all incidental work required, as more fully specified in the Contract Documents and Plans. All proposals must be submitted on State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 together with the proper forms included in the Contract Documents, the entire set of which shall be filed intact as a bid. The projects include work on COUNTY LINE ROAD (CR600S) from CR600E east to CR400E, 296TH STREET (CR600S) from SR213 to CR200E, HOPKINS CT from Charles Street to cul-de-sac, MAXEY CT from Charles Street to cul-de-sac, CHARLES ST from CR200 west to Maxey/Hopkins Ct, WESTWOOD DR from Old SR28 to cul-de-sac, JANE ST from Cleveland Street to cul-de-sac, JAMIE LN from SR19 to cul-de-sac, and CASTLE CT from CR400 west to cul-de-sac. All proposals must be submitted on State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 with the proper forms included in the Contract Documents, filed intact as a bid. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Successful bidders will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price each, within ten days after award, and a two-year maintenance bond in the amount of thirty percent (30%) of the contract price prior to final payment. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to ask for clarification of any bid, reject any proposal, waive technicalities or irregularities, delete any bid item or items, and award a contract on the proposal judged most advantageous to Tipton County.
