Site work for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and bridge / tunnel.
The work consists of constructing 330 linear feet of 24-inch storm sewer pipe and all appurtenances; 1,395 square yards of 10-inch concrete reinforced pavement with 8-inch subgrade and 6-inch curb; 326 square yards of 6-inch crushed concrete access road with 6-inch subgrade; and a 50-foot three-span prestressed concrete box beam bridge (7~5BB28) with spans of 55.50' each. Bidders must furnish all material, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary or incidental to the construction. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 2% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Electronic Bids, if submitted, must be in compliance with Owner's Order Adopting Section 49.2731 Electronic Bidding Rules and submitted through the designated online platform. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges the contract documents may be executed via electronic signature in accordance with Owner's rules for construction contracts. TEC Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) must be submitted with the bid.
