Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work for Contract No. 26-R01 (Contract A) generally consists of approximately 8,400 square yards of roadway milling and resurfacing, base repair, and curb repair. Add Alternates include additional roadway milling and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. The scope of work for Contract No. 26-R01 (Contract B) generally consists of construction of approximately 1,800 square yards of parking lot paving. Add Alternates include the milling and resurfacing of additional parking areas within the parking lot, including all necessary appurtenances for said construction. All bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from QuestCDN using project number 10075356. Proposals must be submitted on the forms furnished. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Bridgeville, to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if awarded. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act for contract values exceeding $25,000, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act.
