The University of Texas at Arlington is seeking statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide services on an “as needed” basis for minor construction, renovation, and repair projects. Services may include architectural services, programming services, mechanical engineering services, plumbing engineering services, and electrical engineering services. These services are to be provided for various minor projects including construction, renovation, remodeling, ADA compliance evaluation and design, repair, and maintenance for buildings (interior and exterior), streets, parking lots, and other miscellaneous areas. The owner does not guarantee any specific volume of work. The Project Architect/Engineer will be responsible for investigation, design, concept visualization, renderings, graphics, and construction phase services as authorized for each task order. Each assignment's requirements will be specified in the issued Task Order. The firm must meet professional standards as accepted in the State of Texas for each authorized assignment and adhere to all RFQ requirements. Qualifications must be concise, straightforward, and responsive to the requirements outlined, with a maximum of fifty printed pages (excluding specified sections). All respondents must submit a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan as part of their submittal. Failure to submit a required HUB plan will result in disqualification. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all qualifications and to waive formalities or minor technical inconsistencies.
