Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of replacement of the roof and HVAC system for Building 2, Contract "OPC2-46", in Fresno County, California. Bids must be for the entire work described in the Engineer's Estimate of Quantities. The Board of Directors reserves the right to increase, decrease, or omit portions of the work as deemed necessary by the Engineer. Copies of plans, special provisions, and contract documents are available for a fee, with fees refundable if documents are returned in usable condition. Only contractors and subcontractors registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) can bid and must comply with prevailing wage laws, submit certified payroll, and post required notices at job sites. A valid California Contractor's license, Class A (General Engineering), is required. Each bid must be submitted on the provided proposal form and accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder must provide a faithful performance bond (110% of bid) and a payment bond (100% of bid). Proof of insurance in the required amounts must be submitted by specified deadlines.
