Port Huron Area School District will accept sealed proposals for the Thomas Elementary Reroof located at 3559 Pollina Ave, Fort Gratiot MI 48059. Sealed proposals must be received at the Administrative Offices of the Port Huron Area School District, addressed to Kate Peternel, Chief Financial Officer, and labeled "Thomas Edison Reroof." Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered or accepted. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend. Evaluation of the proposal and awards by Port Huron Schools will be available at a later date. Scope of Work 1. Remove all existing roofing and insulation down to the roof deck. 2. Remove and dispose of existing edge metal. 3. Install additional wood nailers to roof perimeter to accommodate new height of insulation 4. Mechanically attach two layers of 2.6 inch ISO insulation on sloped roof areas. 5. Mechanically attach two layers of 2.5" ISO plus a full 1/8" tapered system. 6. Mechanically attach 50 mil Duro-Last prefab system or DLX to the entire roof area. 7. Install two-way vents per manufacturer's specifications. 8. Properly flash and seal all roof penetrations per manufacturer specifications detail. 9. Install proper drain flashing and dome strainers per manufacturer specifications. 10. Install two piece compression metal fascia to roof perimeter. Material is to be 24 gauge with a kynar paint finish. 11. Complete clean up and disposal of all job-related debris. 12. Provide a 20yr NDL manufacturers warranty covering 100% of materials and labor. 13. Work must be performed between June 15th and August 15t
