Combined estimated quantities of work are: Remove Bituminous Pavement - 50,108 SQYD, Remove Pipe Culvert - 1,229 LIN FT, Excavation-Common(P) - 144,977 CUYD, Common Embankment (CV)(P) - 136,180 CUYD, Aggregate Base Class 5 - 46,961 TON, 12' x 12' Precast Concrete Box Culvert - 78 LIN FT, 12' x 12' Precast Concrete Box Culvert End Section - 4 EACH, Remove Existing Bridge - 1 LS, Granular Backfill - 1,300 TON, CS Pipe Culvert - 1,646 LIN FT, GS Pipe Apron - 46 EACH, RC Pipe Culvert - 864 LIN FT, RC Pipe Apron - 22 EACH, TP Pipe Drain - 340 LIN FT, Quarry Run Riprap - 720 TON, Traffic Control - 1 LS, Rolled Erosion Prevention Blanket - 32,052 SQ YD, Silt Fence - 11,671 LIN FT, Seeding - 36 ACRE, Hydraulic Matrix Type Bonded Fiber Matrix - 12,850 LB, Mulch Material Type 1 - 67.5 TON, and other construction items. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must be uploaded with all bids. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the contractor have been predetermined. Contractors must comply with the Special Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions contained in the proposal. The County Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or technicalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the County.
