This is a unit price contract for a street rehabilitation task order package. The unit prices established will remain valid for the duration of the contract. The quantities provided are estimates for budgetary purposes only, and there is no guarantee that the contractor will be awarded the entire scope of work. The City may order all, some, or none of the work, and projects will be assigned as they become available. The contract does not include hazardous environmental work, and no project signs are required. Work is to be substantially completed within 240 calendar days. Instructions to bidders include registering with the San Antonio E-Procurement System (SAePS), obtaining bid documents, forms, and addenda from Civcast. Bidders are required to digitally complete and upload all specified documents to Civcast as part of their proposal. These documents must reflect the legal company name as registered with the Texas Secretary of State. Bidders must follow requirements related to Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA), Local Preference Program, Veteran-Owned Small Business Preference Program, Responsible Bidder Ordinance, and Heat Illness Ordinance. Subcontracting requirements must be met as stated in the SBEDA Guidelines Provisions and on the Subcontractor/Supplier Commitment Form. Bidders must also comply with prevailing wage rate requirements. Detailed instructions are further provided in referenced sections of the solicitation documents and ordinances.
